Mia Amber Davis was recently on Fox speaking out about body image, Ralph Lauren, and Christian Louboutin (Loubie say it ain't so!...how are you gonna say Barbie's ankles are fat! WTF! I'm so sad...). Mia is one of our top plus size models and is really becoming a premier spokesperson in terms of body image, self acceptance, and fat activism. I LOVE MIA and her message! And I love that she pulled out a vintage Monif C. Paris Tie Neck dress for the interview...do you all remember when we did the Paris dress in jersey? Well, she rocked it for the interview.

It’s unbelievable that they think Barbie’s ankles are fat. I guess these designers have a lot of time on their hands to be focusing on ankles of a doll. What’s next? Are they going to be poking at Miss Piggy?

HEY MONIF!! I would just like to say I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE YOUR ENTIRE LINE!! If i had the money, I would purchase every dress, because growing up out of a small town with NO PLUS SIZE CLOTHING for youth was and has always been distress and emotional many times. Especially when your tall and THICK AND LOVLEY.
